After a year of recession, tax raising and cuts to social security, Argentina’s anarchocapitalist president Javier Milei insists we need more dollars from the IMF to avoid hyperinflation (yet again…We are still negotiating debt bonds from 24 years ago when this exact same thing happened). Milei’s party is a minority in congress yet he has “managed” to pass every bill he needed to conduct this agenda of curtailing social welfare in favor of big corporations, who find it easier today to just lend money to our banks for a huge profit margin rather than actually producing commodities.

Today, congress is expected to aprove more debt from the IMF and the ministry of security has already set a huge barricade surrounding the building, warning they will repress any violent protests. There are threatening voice messages in the train stations warning people not to attend the protest and every access to the city has police controls right now.

I am not a journalist, this is my analysis and I’m just a concerned citizen who plans to attend the protest today.

Questioning of the right to protest is rising worldwide and we should all take it personal when fake democratic plutocrats tell the working people to sit still.

Let’s work towards an international and united working class.
