Some people seem to have an inability to understand the importance of coalition building in a democratic society. That’s kind of the whole thing.
Like, sure there’s a time and place for us to argue differences, but how productive is it to just lead in with calling someone a class traitor? Regardless of whether someone feels that’s true, is that a helpful approach? What purpose does that really serve?

Counter Strike was way better when this was the vibe. I am so tired of competitive this and gun case that. I’ve never been interested in 5v5 scrimming in any serious way, but that’s all CS2 wants me to do.
I want gun game, I want wc3, I want ZM. I want quirky custom maps (glass!) and quake sounds and !bet ct all. I want to fuck around with new friends on a server for an evening, not to sweat my balls off throwing practiced smokes on dust2.
Yeah, I am enjoying the age mechanic as a new approach to the formula. It’s not without its flaws, but in previous Civs after a certain point I just stopped playing/didn’t finish games when the outcome was clear. I’m doing that less now.
All the tired puns or jokes about Nazis/Hitler. “Anne Frankly, I did Nazi that coming!” “You gotta hand it to Hitler, at least he killed Hitler.” Etc.
It’s the kind of thing you might chuckle at once, but so many comment threads end up piled with the same brain rot nonsense as people trip over themselves to parrot their quirky internet catchphrases.
For the reasons listed in the post the commenter was replying to: people don’t engage as much with the material or with each other.
An aging population base is not good for the future. Your “logic” is severely limited if you’re not considering the need for stable tax revenues to provide services, or the need for sufficiency caregivers to aid elderly.
