I’m an atheist. I grew up super religious and had a falling out with my church due ti their “if someone belives different than our denomination they are going to hell” mindset. After that I found out that most other denominations are like that except for mormons but they are worse in other ways. Then I did more and more research that sort of caused what belief I had left to fall apart and now its kind of like Santa Claus, once you figure out its your parents putting presents under the tree theres no believing in Santa anymore

Nah I think both of these are examples of pandering. The Last Samurai is even worse because there was no reason at all for Tom Cruise to be there historically. Yasuke at least was a real samurai and I think if you were to ignore the fact that ubisoft is obviously pandering for publicity and cash his story isn’t much different than Will Adams’ portrayal in Shogan.

You are right but I’d like to point out that you could argue that the holy trinity is polytheistic, or like LDS believe this universe’s god is just one of many gods. But you are correct for the most part I just wanted to mention that
