Well, you know what they say; everyone’s got cancer according to WebMD…
Does it still let you sign in locally if you disable network interfaces in BIOS?
Don’t think so. The setup itself can’t complete without internet.
I’m pretty happy with Tidal so far; I tried Qobuz back when I was looking for an alternative to Spotify and I remember the Android app being borderline unusable. I might be misremembering things though.
No one should buy either of them IMO. These super cheap mobile devices are more or less e-waste from day one…
That quote is on under features on the article for the original Pebble, right? Might be that the Pebble 2 used a different screen; I can’t really find info on that though.
Where exactly is that quote from? I had a look through the product page(s) and could only find e-paper being mentioned…
I don’t know if they can really do that since Gemini is just an LLM at its core. Maybe they could integrate Assistant functionality into Gemini on Android that’s then triggered by certain keywords, but at that point why not just keep both Assistant and Gemini?
Gemini is hardly an uprade to Assistant, though. Gemini can’t do any task automation (aka the one thing Google Assistant could do) because it’s a LLM that most likely doesn’t even ‘know’ that it’s being run on a phone…
You know, I’ve seen so many people getting these messages… I never got any though… Not even spambots want me sigh
And I have PDO pressings of Faith No More albums that are almost 40 years old and have just started to rot. Common occurrence with PDO pressings apparently; one manufacturing error is all it takes.
Whoever designs their logos definitely needs a raise IMO.
I’d buy all the stickers if it didn’t cost twice their value just to ship them to me.
Looks like LEDVANCE GmbH is actually the manufacturer
