There seems to be no consistency with perm bans. Burner email and VPN banned - maybe the browser you used had a reddit kill cookie in it.
Reddit is becoming typically right wing where they allow people to discuss various topics as long as their answers don’t disagree with their political leanings
I seem to be in the same category as you regarding a few groups that get no traction on Lemmy. Do you have any idea how they handled mentioning Lemmy in a comment? I would think it would be worse if you mentioned it in a post
Read the article and it seems very complicated to use reddit. Also I was recently told that 80% of their users are via cell phone vs. PC. I wonder if Lemmy’s numbers are similar regarding users and cell phone
Did you actually get a message that said “because you upvoted”? I still don’t think they track and suspend based on upvotes to something
