I found a group of people who actually give a fuck about each other. I am never letting them go. They are stuck with me now.
Secretly an opossum.

Until recently I would have said 0%, but probably 95% of my current friends would rush me to a hospital (if it was physically possible) the other 5% are perpetually busy and would probably find someone who could.
No, she’s just a bully and an asshole. If you sister can’t kick her ass, kick her ass yourself and help your sister find better friends. Your sister probably needs the support, otherwise she probably wouldn’t be “”“friends”“” with people like that.
I love Qobuz. Also for those of you trying to boycott US goods, it’s a French company. I just wish it had the same adoption and features as Spotify.
I mean, they could introduce a new character who takes shelter in a mysterious, dilapidated research facility during the 7 hour war and finds themselves in a hellish labyrinth of puzzles. Maybe said character finds Chell in the field and helps release her (there’s some speculation Chell never made it out, but was actually in some kind of biosphere based on some in-game hints).
You know you don’t have to be a furry to buy furry stuff, ye? It’s not like anyone’s checking for a “furcard” or anything.
Besides: for those of y’all boycotting US goods, Nomad Complex is Canadian. It actually sucks for those of us in the US because afaik, Nomad Complex has stated that they’re not attending US furcons anymore. They’ve apparently had issues with immigration and customs prior to Trump, and they’ve decided (and for good reason) not to enter the US for the foreseeable future.
No, but it’s one of many. c:
This is why I love furry stuff. Nomad Complex, Hyena Agenda and Weasel Gear are great. I mean, I guess Nomad Complex and Hyena Agenda could technically be kinda considered branded since Nomad Complex puts their logo on the front of their hoodies and Hyena Agenda has some shirts that incorporate their logo into the design, but the designs are generally really good.
Okay, there’s actually a speculated reason for this: while you’re dreaming, your body is paralyzed but your brain is not. When you go into fight-or-flight when you’re dreaming, your brain starts trying to take sensory input from both your dream self and your real self. As a result, your brain is receiving mixed signals: your arm is moving and it’s not moving; you’re successfully controlling your arm but you can’t control your arm. The result is that it feels like it takes a significant amount of effort to move your arm, and your arm moves slowly.
My own personal experience seems to support this: if I casually run or hit something in a dream, then it happens as expected. If I’m in fight-or-flight mode, then my actions occur in slow motion. However, I got lucky and became lucid during one such moment, and decided to try consciously focus on just moving my dream arm, and I was no longer moving in slow motion.
Personally? My country wants me dead. “Oh but claim refugee status at the border” yeah, that don’t work if you’re coming from the US. The US is considered a safe harbor by Canada for LGBT people.
Let that sink in a moment. Canada still considers the US to be a safe harbor for people who are LGBT, and so explicitly (unless something changed literally in the past couple months) blocks refugees from the US.
Here’s an article on the two bills that got voted out in Montana: https://www.erininthemorning.com/p/powerful-speeches-from-trans-dems
Most of the anti-trans legislation is as bad or worse; Texas has a couple nutjobs trying to make being trans illegal as a whole.
They can’t see that attacks on trans rights are also attacks on cis rights. I think that’s part of the reason why Rep. Zoey Zephyr and Rep. SJ Howell were so effective at stopping a couple pieces of anti-trans legislation in Montana yesterday. They talked about the fact that the legislation would potentially effect cis people as well as the fact that it’d take “parental rights” away from parents. They also did it in a way that created a narrative which both cis and trans people can identify with, creating a common ground to further convince people that the legislation was wrong. And it was successful. They got a number of Republican lawmakers to switch sides, despite the fact that the GOP prides itself on being in lockstep. They even had a Republican lawmaker make a stand too, saying that the people introducing this legislation were basically just wasting everyone’s time.
People say, “trans rights are human rights” and they’re serious. We embody the extreme of gender non-conformity that cis people occasionally dabble in, and when you start taking away our rights, you start taking away cis rights too.
This. I’m not giving up BBQ, sorry. However, if I can replace my heavily processed meats like nuggies or hamburger patties with something that tastes more or less the same, has a vaguely similar or better texture, and doesn’t involve killing an animal, then fuck yeah I’ll try it.
Talking about how an ingredient is a laxative as if it’s going to immediately make everyone shit their brains out just pushes me and presumably others away from meat substitutes. Tbh it almost feels elitist or like meat propaganda. “The fake meat is gonna make you die from diarrhea!!!” or “Oooo… Look at me, I’m a real^tm vegan because I don’t eat that chemical filled, laxative laced fake meat”.
