Shadows is honestly the most fun i’ve had with an AC game in the longest time. The stealth is so much fun to pull of, it makes me feel like i’m back in Unity
There’s a hairdryer? I’ll have to keep an eye out for one because if it gets louder than the Air Horn i’d love to have it lol
I just cropped it too cut out people’s usernames lol
i’ve considered taking a break a few times or just “freezing” the day count, not because of burn out or anything but because i was just unsure if i could work with my schedule lol. I’m hesitent to take a break though because it kind of feel disingenuous and I’ve ended up working around my schedule each time. If i were to take a planned break though, i think a year would be the perfect point to do it
Without spoilers, i’m really enjoying it. It simplified the lengthy RPG mechanics the older games had, and the story is a major improvement imo. Stealth is also way more prevalent here (but if you preferred the Valhalla route of combat mainly you can do that too). Parkour is awesome too, but the wilderness could use some work. It still inherits a few flaws from the RPG titles, but it’s very much a return to form for the franchise
someone the other day suggested removing it because by day 250 something the chances i forgot would be slim. I was initially hesitant to do it, but ended up doing it just because it’s a lot better of a title. The rules are very much still “Until i forget”
It’s a lot of fun. It retains a bit from the other RPG titles but fixes a lot from it too, especially with the Assassin part of it. I really hope Ubisoft takes this and actually gives it’s planned sequals some time instead of just going straight to releasing another game a year or two later.
It’s a bit of the same, it returns a lot closer to the older AC Games though. For example, a lot of the mythology aspect is removed, and the side quests are a lot closer to the older Assassination Missions. It still uses the framework from the RPG games though (though it’s been heavily simplified from the tree that Valhalla had)
See, i get what you’re saying, but… have you considered that mine is the best thing?
What’s the difficulty level of Black Mesa? I played the OG Half Life a few years ago and struggled a bit with it
The world could always use more fishing games
I love how like every once and a while we get games with random outlandish concepts like Untitled Goose Game or Squirrel with a Gun
It’s definitely really pretty and runs pretty well too. I have it set to the base High Option and it runs at around 60 FPS for me with my specs (which is the max my monitor goes)
Introducing people to new games is one of my favorite parts of doing this. It makes me happy to hear that someone thought to give a game a try because of me
Invite your boss and coworkers to play Halo with you. Problem solved
I daily drive it right now on my gaming rig. It’s fairly stable, it has a few issues though like display color tweaking out upon waking up out of sleep or Bluetooth just straight up deciding it’s done for the session and forcing me to reboot.
Personally for me Silent Hill 2, Alan Wake 2, Fallout New Vegas, Assassins Creed Black Flag, and Portal 2 are the ones i can name in recent memory. I’m sure there’s more that left me feeling the same way beyond that though
I’ve only played a few games so far so I haven’t had any issues with other players. Is there really no Betrayal booting? I’ve run into that so many times in MCC Multiplayer it feels like it should be essential at this point
It looks fun, i feel like the roster is really starting to get bloated though if we’ve reached the point where a dead fish and cow were needed to be made into characters just to meet the roster quota
