I mean we did this already, Trump told people that COVID could be treated with UV lights and drinking bleach. Then told his cult it wasn’t real, it was going away really fast, and if we stop testing it’ll basically disappear over night.
It’s the whole reason the racist Right “supports” Israel. It’s not that they believe Jews should be treated equally, but that they need them to bring about their armageddon.
I think in NY we are aware and the state is trying brace for the worse, and I see/hear people starting gardens, getting chickens, and basically have “bug out bags” incase things go sideways.
True, last time they gave corporations bailouts (to “increase job growth and the economy”) they used for CEO bonuses and stock buy backs. However this time around Trump only seems interested in pardoning felony level corruption & assault (J6), while being all over the place with tariffs and Ukraine.
This CEO apparently thought the US treating Canada like they are under sanctions, while threatening to invade them, is how you normally treat your biggest trade partner and close ally.
In this upside-down you have Trump repeatedly threatening to invade Canada and Greenland while only being “upset” with Putin. He has got the whole US in travel advisories of close to a dozen countries at this point (not just the wacky Red States), and we are only 3 months in.

And almost certainly knowing that if someone saw her miscarriage she would be arrested and thus tried to hide the fetus in a dumpster instead of seeking medical attention. And a law firm depending on federal contracts doesn’t make much when the President singles you out and threatens to end you. I mean sure, you could try and fight it in court, but if he rigs the judiciary against you your outcome isn’t promising.
So is he voiding all work visas now? Or just for people of color? Or based on nationality? Or is he planning to void all visas because “something something American first [racist run-on]”?
Also gotta love the irony of the guy being married to a woman who worked here illegally while waiting on her work visa, now deporting people who followed the law.

Also why bother with the investigations, they investigated Biden for 4 years and despite the “overwhelming evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors” they couldn’t even name one, let alone provide evidence. This is just Trump trying to get his base focused on something other than how he is screwing them despite their support.
I saw pics of someone that rebadged their model 3 I think it was with an Audi badge, and if you knew nothing about cars it looked believable.
Several of these platforms used bots and/or multiple staff accounts to inflate user count/engagement to draw more people in and trigger the network effect.

As an American I say Canada should just go the “we don’t bargain with terrorists” approach and just cut the electric today. Call the bully’s bluff.
Churches should not be allowed to have any political influence. They should be required to give any funds coming in right back out to the community to maintain their tax exempt status. Allowing these mega churches to have people living like the 1% while using their wealth and influence to oppress others should be enough to force them to shut down.
They are supposed to be the interpreters of the law, and to send things back down to lower courts for things that are not spelled out in laws or the constitution so that the courts can help settle the grey (untested/unsettled ) areas of the law.
The Court currently is anti human rights, pro corporate, anti environmental, pro Christian indoctrination, and pro Trump and/or fascists. The majority hasn’t ruled on anything based on case law in years. And that became super apparent when Trump got to stack the court with rubber stamp judges.
The dev has in the past taken steps away, but comes back when needed. And despite not being updated in a hot sec it’s still still the best mobile app IMHO.
Yeah I personally know 2 people that had COVID but died of pneumonia, not COVID. It’s like we learned nothing.
