One has its natural length, one keeps things trimmed.
I was raised Roman Catholic and I was taught about the schism.
However, it was framed as the Eastern Orthodox Catholics broke off from mainstream Catholicism, therefore Roman Catholics were the “original Catholics.”
It does kind of tickle me how much the folks that taught me that, value tradition so highly that they try to rationalize this kind of thing until they once are “traditional.”
Mine’s magnetic. I have a charger on my nightstand. It keeps my phone in place, so it doesn’t get knocked down where it’s hard to get.
I also have a charging cradle on my desk. Keeps it upright. Makes it easy to glance at any notifications or quickly deal with MFA. I do sometimes unplug the cradle and just use it as a non-charging prop.
It’s also nice because, being magnetic, it also helps when I am having issues with my hands. (Stiff joints.)
I know Toyota is Japanese, but they have a Kentucky, USA factory where they manufacture Camry and Lexus ES 350 and 300h.

If other people are affected, no they’re not. They just need to be tough like me.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to call in a favor for something that is affecting me.
“Oh no. I did his bidding. He was supposed to hurt other people, but not me. Now I hate that guy. Feel sorry for me.”
The place for number 1 is to the right.
Life’s too short to spend your leisure time doing stuff you don’t want to do. Go dinos!

For real though, I liked the way the Aeron kind of “forced” good posture. Not enough to buy one for myself, but enough when I had one at a previous job.
It got weird after COVID. Of the stuff I sold, a lot of people would ask if I could deliver. Even for small items, and far more often than they would before the pandemic. Of the stuff I buy, people would ask if I wanted it delivered. I understood for large items like couches. It made no sense for stuff like DVDs. (Porch pick up or neutral location for me always.)
So I just offer it right out the gate now. If they’re “selling” something and it’s a scam, it filters them out. If I’m buying something, it lets them know I’m not going to ask them to jump through hoops.
When I get back to my personal computer, I’m going to finally move to Linux. I’m a developer primarily on Microsoft technologies, but I’m willing to see if there is a way for me to work on Linux and branch out to other tech.
Meanwhile, you ask a question or two about it (size, smoke free home, anything else not answered in the ad) or even say “When is a good time to look at/pick this up? Will pay cash.”
Crickets. Online classifieds are a lot more frustrating than they used to be.
Not sure if they already sold it (and still left the ad up) or if it is a scam and they don’t reply because my offer (see in person, handle pickup myself).
Same, lots of great people and a nice community. As a whole, they’re very accepting folks too and have no problems with the respectful non-furs.
Finally, something achievable.
Even just the frozen food at your normal grocery store is really good. I’m pretty sure some of it it sourced in the same place these restaurants get their food. (I’m pretty sure I can get McDonald’s hash browns at my local Kroger.)
If you tend to buy in bulk, you might want to check out restaurant supply places like GFS. If I am doing bulk baking or cooking, I will sometimes pick up a few things from them. They are open to the public and sell a lot of stuff that restaurants use, too.
