If you are into 3D printing, put it on your resume. That shows incredible problem-solving capabilities. We hired someone recently and only found out afterwards that she was into 3D printing as a hobby. If she’d have put that in her resume, she would have gone right to the top at the start. This was for a technical problem-solving, support role.
I have been yes, and the people were indeed friendly. Same with Vietnam, and others. However, the Taiwanese people were just so, so, genuinely helpful, friendly and kind. I was taken aback.
Taiwan for sure. What lovely people.
I wonder why they just don’t publish on the fDroid store and continue?
Yup. I’m going to get the full warm water, bells and whistles version.
I art. I do love ai for the lulz, however, actual commercial art? Absolutely not. It’s not an end product. It’s fun, it’s inspiring.

Image toolbox on Android is phenomenal.
Does exactly what you needs, and a tonne more.
I have used OMV for years. Great system.
I remote in using zeroTier.
It’s installed on the OMV server, and I have it on all my devices.
That puts all my devices on a virtual “local network” so I can explore my shared folders, log into the OMV admin panel, etc, anywhere in the world.
Has been working beautifully for me, for years.
I hope that helps.
You can if you wish. You just choose not to. Like so many if us. If more did volunteer, the problem would disappear. It’s that simple.
I just typed “african mouse” into both bing, and ddg. I got EXACTLY the same results. Which I kind of expected . Same order, everything. However, my understanding is, that DDG obfuscates the user, and doesn’t track. This is my hope, and why I use it.
I have to admit I still have some legacy code that does that.
Then I found pandas. Life changed for the better.
Now I have lots if old code that I’ll update, “one day”.
However, even my old code, terrible as it is, does not overheat anything, and can process massively larger sets of data than 60,000 rows without any issue except poor efficiency.
For now, but the writing on the wall in the forums is that the self hosted version will also have a reduction of capabilities in time. The owner has posted in a forum thread that he doesn’t feel that just because you self host that you should also get it completely unrestricted. And that is fine, it is their own commercial system, but I am looking for something that does not impose restrictions. I am happy to pay, but the rates they are wanting are above my capabilities for what I am using it for.
Thank you for the recommendation, I will have a look at it as it seems to be the most likely option.
That seems to be the consensus, I will definitely try it out. Thank you
Thank you for that link. I guess my concern here is in the same way that N8N charges and changes what it charges for, this tool might end up in a cycle where it clamps down on what you can and can’t do and I end up heavily restricted. This is what is happening with N8N, so I am a little bit concerned about tools like this.
I bet they can, and are.
I haven’t watched the video, so am asking legitimately. Assuming it was a sex joke was it out of order, or fine? In my mind, as an adult, the odd innuendo at an appropriate moment can be hilarious. If he’s not objectifying etc etc, then surely that’s OK? But, I’ve not watched it, so seeing what your onion is.
Edit. Down voted for asking. Is this reddit? What happened to lemmy?
Correct. The non open source licenses, such as 'fair code ’ are not open source. They are available, but not open.
It dilutes the true meaning, and I find it a little nefarious when a company calls their code open, when it’s in reality available.
