Seems about right: it’s just a small loan, after all.

Both git and svn started around the same time, in or about 2004.
Petition was filed around 24 hours ago, but no summons, no other evidence of service, and no bail motion ready to go. Plaintiff is certainly not bringing to bear the same kind of litigation resources that Khalil gets from the ACLU.
Basically. Every time this district court judge does a new thing, they file a whiny motion, basically tattle-tale-ing, with the appeals court. The appeals court hasn’t said anything about the tattle-tale letters yet. They set a very expedited briefing schedule on the appeal, but not as fast as the government wanted.
At this point it seems pretty clear that no more planes are actively planned. I don’t think the judge is going to try to claw those poor people out of the Salvadoran prison.
Might as well slow down a bit, litigate the appeal, and litigate the preliminary injunction to get something more permanent. Then move for sanctions and/or contempt. Let the news cycle recycle, then hit it.
The two words by themselves are not very good English, or any slang idiom I know about.
I agree this sounds threatening, however.

Also beans. Can we bring back the beans, you know, for the newbies?
In addition to the other reasons already stated, Canada doesn’t have the capacity to store up the power and sell it back later when things turn around.
So if they did just pull the plug, they would also have to stop generating the power, and Canada would lose our on that revenue.
It’s not just lawmakers. There’s a bunch of lawsuits trying to use the federal courts to figure out:
These are all things that have been shrouded in secrecy, obfuscation, and contradiction. Because the truth is that the real answers are not legally sound. The fact that these people are scared to say the real truth is a good sign, because it means they still have some fear of the courts and institutions. Those institutions still have some power to mess up the plan.
DC city government is fairly directly controlled by Congress. There’s not much of a firewall there. So I’m not really surprised.
not fit to have a job.
I thought they were mainly firing everyone new enough to still be on the standard probationary period.
As far as I know, the MAX software fully complied with its software requirements. The problem was crappy system requirements, and Boeing actively lied to their pilots to conceal that they added a brand new automatic flight control system that can push the elevators down independent of the autopilot and stick pusher.
That last part is what sent people to jail.
