Nintendo’s been saying this for decades, though this particular message is ridiculous.
But I still love playing my old SNES games. The Switch was laughably under-powered, but I still sank hundreds of hours into dozens and dozens of games… Because Nintendo values gameplay over spectacle. They’re not the only ones, of course, but I think they consistently do it better than most.
Is this game worth checking out? Or does it need more time?
I agree with you except for the fact that there’s just so much bullshit for kids out there, and parents are so exhausted right now (both are working and working longer). So it’d be nice if there was a system that actually looked out for children and people instead of businesses.
At the end of the day, though, it is still the parents’ responsibility. It just sucks that this person can wipe their hands of things and think that sufficient.
I dunno… That seems a like disingenuous to make a game specifically for kids and then take no responsibility for what children are exposed to on said game. I’m all for parents taking responsibility and believe that’s a problem with many families today, but that just seems a shitty thing for him to say, IMHO.
Damn, that’s terrible… Did they not have family or someone to check in on them regularly? I guess if she was 65, they thought he was in good hands…
I don’t know how easy it is to contact hantavirus. Does it take one rat or a lot?
Yeah, that wss disappointing to read. Based off the new Diggnation episodes, I was hoping Kevin would offer something a bit more genuine and authentic–and who knows, maybe it’ll turn out to be incredible–but I’m not keeping my hopes up.
Didn’t Captain Disillusion already debunk this…?
Ha! Never heard this before, but it’s awesome that another group has played with Verdi’s “dies irae.”
So, this is nothing like what you’re looking for, but here’s another take on “dies irae” by Symphony X.
